Maximising corporate IP value in Australasia

Now entering its fourth year, IPBC Australasia is firmly cemented in the IP calendar and IAM is pleased to announce that this unique regional event will return to Melbourne on 21 November 2019.

Built on IAM’s extensive relationships within the Australian and New Zealand IP communities, IPBC Australasia is specifically designed for senior IP executives at the region’s leading corporates, research institutions and governmental agencies, plus emerging companies from across the industry spectrum.

Through a packed one-day programme IPBC Australasia takes the core themes of IP value creation and strategic corporate IP best practice and discusses them from both the New Zealand and Australian standpoint, with particular attention to innovation-based growth, IP risk mitigation and international expansion strategies.

Delegate profile
The three previous editions of IPBC Australasia have been incredibly successful, with over 150 delegates attending each year. As an exclusive invitation-based event the audience consistently comprises over 75% leading domestic companies, international corporations, research institutions and government bodies. The 2019 event will build upon this unique industry-focused gathering.

Delegate quotas
To guarantee a variety of outlooks and experiences, we employ strict sector quotas for intermediaries, private practice lawyers/attorneys and service provider representatives. Once we hit a quota limit, we are unable to offer a place at IPBC Australasia to those from the relevant sector seeking to register for the event. This ensures that the event remains focused on our key attendees – senior executives at IP-owning companies.
